Please communicate information below

  • Insured name and / or the policy number of accident car
  • Registration Number , Brand and Color of the accident car
  • Driver Name
  • How the accident occurred briefly
  • Place of accident ( Please give a noticeable spot that can be easily recognized ) and the place of appointment such as the police station or the place that you move to.
    More details will help us to send our surveyor to the spot more quickly.
    Please note the name of surveyor and the calling time for you reference.

If you can not contact us, please do as follows ;

If you are not at fault

1. In case the third party or other party (hereinafter called T/P) car has no insurance, please do as follows;

  • Ask the T/P to write a liability slip and a copy of his/her copy of his/her car registration. If you can’t have it, please note the car Reg.No. Note the registration Number, Brand of T/P car, the name and the address of the T/P driver.
  • Keep the T/P documents such as driver’s driving license or identification card.
  • Report to the local police, copy the police blotter and send it to us.
  • Inform us immediately on the next working day.

2. In case T/P car has insurance.

  • Exchange Claim Form (the white one attached to the policy) which both insurance companies have issued for the insurance type 1, 2, 3 and so on.
  • If T/P does not have Claim Form, ask him to contact his/her insurance company.
  • Ask the T/P Liability Acceptance Note from the T/P insurance company surveyor.
  • Inform us immediately on the next working day.

3. Claim Form Procedure

  1. Present this Claim Form and ask third party whether he/she also has the similar Claim Form as yours. If yes, please proceed as below. If not, contact your insurance company.
  2. Verify the vehicle’s Registration No. mentioned in the third party Claim Form whether it is the same as his/her vehicle’s plate No. or not. If not, contact your insurance company. If yes, please proceed further procedure.
  3. Fill in all details in Part II of your Claim Form as well as record all items of damage to your vehicle and to third party’s vehicle in Part III, and Part IV accordingly with mutual agreement which should be identical on both documents.
  4. Sign your name on your own Claim Form as well as third party’s document. Mark on “Right” box in case that you are not at fault, mark on “Wrong” box in case that you are at fault or mark on “Both negligent” box if both are negligent. If it is not able to identify which party is fault, the traffic policeman’s decision should be applied.
  5. Exchange this Claim Form with the third party and bring the document to contact your insurance company within 7 days to notify the accident in writing and to protect your right in claim compensation before having your vehicle repaired accordingly.
  6. In case that your vehicle was insured under 2nd class (Third Party Fire and Theft) or 3rd class (Third Party Only) conditions, and you are right, bring the Claim Form of third party who is at fault to contact his/her insurance company to notify claims for claim compensation within 7 days.
  7. Request for new Claim Form from your insurance company for further accident usage.

4. In case T/P car has insurance but T/P cannot contact his/her insurance company.

  • Note the name of insurance company, policy number and the expiry date.
  • Note the Registration Number, Make of T/P car, the name and the address of T/P driver.
  • Ask the T/P to write a liability slip and obtain a copy of his/her car registration, if you can’t have it, please note the car Reg. No.
  • Keep the T/P documents such as driver’s driving license or identification card.
  • Report to the local police, copy the police blotter and send it to us.
  • Inform us immediately on the next working day.
If you are at fault

1. In case the T/P car has no any insurance or “Claim Form”, please do as follows;

  • Arrange an appointment with the T/P to come to our office with damaged cars on the working day, and take the photographs in advance if it is possible.
  • After the police decide that you are at fault, ask the T/P to copy the police blotter and come with his/her damaged car to our company.
  • In case it is evidently that you are at fault, write the liability slip to him/her.

2. In case the T/P has insurance type 1, 2, 3 and so on and he/she has “Claim Form”

  • Exchange “Claim Form” (The white document attached with the policy) which the company issued and do as the procedure identified in the form or as Item No. 1.3
If both insist each other’s negligence

In case both parties are negligent and has insurance type 1, 2, 3 and so on and he/she has “Claim Form”

  • Exchange “Claim Form” (The white document attached with the policy) which the company issued and do as the procedure identified in the form or as item No. 1.3

2. In case the T/P car has no any insurance or “Claim Form”, please do as follows;

  • If the case is investigated by the police and he judges that the insured is negligent, please copy the police blotter and contact us with the damage car.
  • If the case is not investigated by the police, ask him write the note shown that both are negligent.
If both can not judge who are at fault
  • Report to the local police immediately.
  • Don’t move the cars until the police come to the scene.
  • Let the police judge who are at fault. If you are not at fault, see No. 1.
  • If you are at fault, see No. 2.
If you injure a person
  • Bring him/her to the nearest hospital or clinic immediately for the initial treatment. If you have compulsory policy, please show the document such as sticker that the insurance company has given to you to attach the font windshield to the hospital officers. Almost all the hospital will give the initial treatment to the victim, no need for you to pay because that hospital will send a debit note to us later except some hospitals where you have to pay in advance and it will be reimbursed to you later.
  • Inform us immediately on the next working day.
When you car is seized

If your car is seized for investigation at the police station, you should bring all valuable things out of the car, asking the police to have a check and record in the police blotter.

When your car is stolen

Please call to Lost and Found Car Center, Tel. 1192 (in Thailand only) and report to the company immediately. After that, please report to the police station where your car has been lost with the following documents;

  1. Car Registration Book (With the authorized signature and seal)
  2. Power of Attorney (With the authorized signature and seal)
  3. Your company’s affidavit (With the authorized signature and seal)
  4. Copy of authorized director’s identification card or passport with his signature (a person who gave the power to act in his name)
  5. Copy of authorized person with his signature (a person who is entrusted to act) If the stolen car is under hire purchase agreement, Finance or Leasing Company will prepare it. Please ask them.

After 1 month from the date of the car lost, please contact to our staff again asking a requisition letter to the police regarding the progress of the lost car and waiting for answer. At the same time please prepare the documents to claim for the compensation as follows;

  1. Car Registration Book (With the authorized signature and seal)
  2. Power of Attorney (With the authorized signature and seal)
  3. Transfer of ownership (With the authorized signature and seal)
  4. Your company’s affidavit (With the authorized signature and seal)
  5. Copy of authorized person’s identification card or passport with his signature

What should I do, if I cannot contact insurance company when my car got accident? (Your car could not move caused by accident)

The rate of towage fee In case of the car, pick up or other four wheels vehicle

  • In Bangkok The maximum charge is Bht. 500.-/time
  • In boundary of Bangkok eg. Bangna-Trad K.M.4, Samrong, Laksi, Thlingchan, Putthaamonton, Rama 2nd (Thonburi-Paktho), Ladkrabang
    The maximum charge is Bht. 600-800.-/time
  • In the upcountry near Bangkok eg. Pathumthani, Chonburi, Chacheangsao, Samutsakorn, Nakornpratom
    The maximum charge is Bht. 1,200-1,500.-/time


Besides the towage fee in other provinces of Thailand is calculated by measuring the distant. One kilometer is Bht. 10.- for example from Bangkok to Nakornrachsima is about Bht. 2,580.-

Remark In case of the car is so damaged that it can not move by its wheels, the crane officer have to use special wheels to move it. The additional fee is Bht. 500. – 800.

Bail out the driver

The company will prepare the bail money to bail the driver out up to limit of liability for bail bond written on the policy.

General Criminal Penalty for driver

  • Damage the T/P property fine Bht.400.- to Bht.1,000.-
  • Injure the person (light) fine not exceed Bht.1,000.- Imprison not exceed a month or both
  • Injure the person (serious) fine not exceed Bht.6,000.- Imprison not exceed 3 years or both
  • Cause the fatal injury fine not exceed Bht.20,000.- Imprison not exceed 10 years or both

If the driver flees from the scene or does not report himself to the police investigator
Additional penalty is applied fine not exceed Bht.5,000 – 20,000.-
Imprison not exceed 6 months or both and the
accidental car will be seized until termination of the case
